The to Neons Perform at This Year’s Christmas on MacArthur December 9

Make sure you check out the MacArthur Avenue stage directly after the parade on December 9. The Neons, Northsiders through and through, will be performing their punk and family-friendly covers and original songs.

Like many great things on Northside, this band was launched by the great David Hudson, former principal of Holton Elementary School (now Colonel Hudson of Franklin Military Academy). David gave the band their first gig at an awards ceremony held on May1, 2015. The band members hammered out “Eight Days a Week” by the Beatles, and were an immediate success.

Since then, they have played at the Church Hill Irish Festival, InLight and Oystoberfest, and also in venues like Isley Brewing Co. and the Camel.

It’s Austin on lead guitar, Nathan on rhythm guitar, George on bass, Hepburn on keyboard, and Milo bringing it all together on the drums.
