Blessing of the Animals At Emmanuel Episcopal

Emmanuel Episcopal Church on the Northside will host a Blessing of the Animals event at 10 am October 11. Friends and neighbors will gather outside the church for a special, animal-friendly service of Holy Eucharist. After worship visitors are invited to drop by for an outdoor coffee hour featuring pet-friendly snacks and some people-friendly snacks as well. Animal care professionals will be available to provide pet-i-cures, brush-outs, and ear cleaning services for our furry friends. Emmanuel's Outreach Committee will collect donations of pet food (wet or dry), pet toys, bowls, collars, leashes, old towels, sheets, and so on for our community partners.
