Richmond to Host Recycling And Disposal Event Sept 12

On September 12 from 10 am till 2 pm residents of Richmond will have the opportunity to help save our environment by recycling hazardous materials that might otherwise have ended up in landfills, or polluting our streams and rivers. 

Because of the very nature of our disposable society, many resident have old computers, cameras, printers, phones and so on that simply couldn’t be fixed thanks to corporate America’s greed and the adoption of its strategy known as “planned obsolescence.” 

The following electronic equipment can be recycled at this event: Computer systems (hard drive or CPU) and accessories (cables, wires, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.) VCRs, camcorders, stereos, and all phones; televisions, computer monitors and printers; other used electronic equipment, meaning almost anything with a plug.

You can also rid your home of the known toxic substances corporate America has been poisoning human beings and the environment with for decades.
