Richmond Waldorf School’s 5th Annual Holiday Faire

From eleven till three on December 13, hundreds gathered at Richmond Waldorf School’s Northside campus in celebration of the holidays.

There were a number of children’s activities including the crafting of kites, beeswax candles, holiday wreaths and felted acorn ornaments. As the kids created, adults and children alike shopped for unique gifts handcrafted by local artisans, among them RVA Naturals, Turkey Hollow Pottery, Happy to Meet You Aromatherapy, and Wolle’s Yarn Creations.  Children also visited the Pocket Fairy, spent time in the magical Crystal Cave, and perused books in the Gnome's Nook.

There was also entertainment: Puppet shows and live music performances by Jon & Tyler (from The Head and the Heart), and the Richmond Rounders.

Somer Mojica offered mini-family photo sessions, and there was plenty of food and drink available. This event was free and open to the public.
