14th Annual RVA Environmental Film Festival Returns This Month

The RVA Environmental Film Festival returns from February 21 through March 7 with films screening at Studio Two Three, and seven other locations in the Richmond metro area. The films tackle critical issues facing the environment, along with stories of restoration and hope. Several screenings offer the audience an opportunity to hear from and to speak with filmmakers and activists connected with the films.
Below is a list of the films and when and where they will be shown:
February 21 and 22, 11 am till 6 pm, all of the films, Studio Two Three; February 24, 7 pm, Honeyland, Libbie Mill Henrico County Public Library; February 25, 6:30 pm, The Street Project, Main Branch of the Richmond Public Library; February 26, 6 pm, reception with filmmaker Taylor Lane, followed at 7 pm with a screening of Cigarette Surfboard, Jepson Hall, University of Richmond; February 27, 6 pm, Common Ground, VCU Institute of Contemporary Art, hosted by VCUarts Department of Cinema; February 28, 2:30 pm, Teach Me to Be Wild, The Robins Nature Center at Maymont; March 3, 5:30 pm, The Little Things That Run the World, Chesterfield County Public Library; March 7, 12:30 pm, Future Council (family feature), the VMFA.
