Bellevue’s Light Up the ‘Hood Holiday Light Event 

Light Up the ‘Hood holiday light event is another wonderful opportunity to get out of the house with friends and family, social distancing, of course, and take in Bellevue’s incredible holiday decorations! 

Interested in being on the Bellevue light tour?  Send an email to: vicepresident@bellevueweb.org with your name, address, and whichever category you choose by December 14th and we’ll add you to our light tour map.  Feel free to nominate a neighbor. Only residents of Bellevue are eligible. Bellevue: bounded by Brook, Westbrook, Hermitage, and Laburnum. Previous year winners are not eligible for the same category.  Entry fee: Bellevue Civic Association members are FREE. Non-members pay $15, which also covers 2021 membership dues.

Awards categories:

It’s A Wonderful Life yard display  Using traditional holiday décor items such as wreaths, bows, holly, candles, subtle lighting, outdoor Christmas trees, flock, poinsettias, etc.  Blowup figures are not considered traditional. Prize, $100

Anything Goes yard display  No specific theme. Out-of-the-box, unique display. Prize, $100

Oh, Christmas Tree This is for the most festive, best decorated single tree in the yard. It could be an oak, holly, poplar, elm, magnolia, etc. Prize, $50

Four Best Doors in Bellevue Four homes with the most festive holiday spirit on their front door. Prize, $25 to each of the four winners
