For a day full of music, fun, food, drink and pride, check out the Big GAY Pride Market and Pride Parade from 2 till 6pm on June 14 at the First Union Universalist Church and The Carillon. Sponsored by TransJam RVA, folks are encouraged to take part in the people-powered, half-mile long walking parade. Consider entering a float of your own creation on a wagon, skateboard, bike, or even a unicycle. A prize will be awarded for the best float.
At the Big GAY Pride Market over 75 LGBTQ+ makers and artists will be selling their wares. There will be a Big Gay Raffle, fabulous queer music, bubbles and hula hoop fun, food and drinks from Cluck N Roll Roll, Eddie Rose Coffee, Richmond Cheesesteak Factory, along with ice cream from Ruby Scoops. Plus: a queer community that loves you exactly as you are.
