Maymont Summer Kickoff Concert

Maymont's Summer Kickoff Concert on June 16 and 17 is a great way to celebrate Father's Day, or just to chill with friends under the stars on the Carriage House Lawn. Enjoy craft beers and hard seltzers from Starr Hill Brewery, plus a variety of dinner options from a half-dozen food trucks.

The concert weekend features four talented local bands: On Friday, two jam-infused bluegrass-country-rock bands will take to the CoStar Group Builds stage, starting withThe Wilson Spring Hotel at 7, folllowed by South Hill Banks.

Saturday features Skydog, an Allman Brothers tribute band, followed by Yacht Rock superstars, Three Sheets to the Wind. 

The shows are open to all ages, ID is required for alcohol purchase. Picnic blankets, lawn chairs and refillable water bottles are encouraged, but no coolers, pets, or outside food and alcohol allowed. Diamond Springs will keep guests hydrated with locally sourced water.

After 5 Friday: Summer Breeze with Shanel the DJ

Summer Breeze is back—let summertime begin! Outdoor party season kicks off in the Robins Sculpture Garden with Shanel the DJ on the spin from the Pauley Patio. Be ready to dance to R&B and hip-hop from today and "back in the day." Bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Beer, wine, and snacks will be available for purchase. Free; no registration required. In case of rain, join us in the Cochrane Atrium June 23 from 5:30 till 8:30 pm.
