Kate McDonnell at Shady Grove

The Shady Grove Coffeehouse kicks off its 22nd season with a performance by Kate McDonnell. Kate has released four albums, won songwriting contests, appeared on World Cafe, and performed at the Kennedy Center. 

In 2020, Kate released her fifth album, “Ballad of a Bad Girl”, a collection of 11 songs, including songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival and Richard Thompson, along with original compositions. 

The show begins at 8pm on September 9. Doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge; teens 13-18 are admitted at half price. Tickets are available at tickets@shadygrovecoffeehouse.com, or by calling (804) 323-4288.
