St. James's Episcopal Church Honors Dr. Martin Luther King January 19 & 20

St. James’s Episcopal Church has decades of history celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. This year we will offer two events,  free and open to the public. On Sunday, January 19, at 5 p.m., plan to attend a 5 p.m. Evensong in honor of Dr. King with music by the Concert Choir of Norfolk State and the St. James’s Choirs.

On Monday, January 20 at 10 a.m. St. James’s will host a live reading of "Letter from Birmingham Jail," read by Mayor Danny Avula and six other respected community leaders. Both event admissions and deck parking across the street are free, and all are welcome. , Both events will take place in the Sanctuary.
