Simplicity Parenting and Open House at RWS
As part of Richmond Waldorf School’s ongoing Parent Education series, RWS will host a Simplicity Parenting workshop led by guest speaker, Raelee Pierce, a parent educator and coach for more than 20 years. This event which will be at 5:30 pm October 20, is open to the public and geared towards parents of children, age birth through 2nd grade.
RWS will also offer an Open House on November 5 from 10am till 12pm. This event is open to prospective parents who are interested in exploring Waldorf education and the enrollment opportunities from preschool through 8th grade. Northside Art Show at LGRA Benefits FeedMore
Northside artists will present their work from 11 am till 5 pm on November 19 at Lewis Ginter Recreation Association. Get a head start on your holiday shopping from a wide selection of paintings, drawings, woodwork, ceramics, photographs and much more. Live music by local musicians, and twp open bars donated by the artists. Ten percent of all sales benefit FeedMore. Last June’s event raised more than $1200 for this worthy cause.

Antique Village Celebrates 51 Years
Fifty- one years ago Antique Village first opened its doors, selling only antiques and collectibles. It is the oldest antique mall in Central Virginia.
Consistently praised by travelers and locals as a mall with “true and antiques and collectibles”, the Village and its 50 dealers are going all out for its anniversary weekend, October 29 and 30.
