Robert Ullman pays the bills as a designer and illustrator for clients big and small, from national publications to personal portraits and commissions. He designed the ubiquitous FUNNVILLE logo for the Richmond Flying Squirrels, and illustrated the slate of The Nutshell game program covers in 2022 and 2023.

In his spare time, he creates comics and other sports. His CARTOON CANON strip is featured every week on DKPittsburghSports.com <http://dkpittsburghsports.com/> and his OLD-TIMEY HOCKEY TALES comic book is published on an occasional basis.

A life-changing hiking trip to the Colorado Rockies awakened a long-buried passion for the outdoors in 2016, and since then, his work has expanded to include more geographic and wilderness themes.
