Major Playground Renovation At Richmond Waldorf School

Richmond Waldorf School is excited to announce a major renovation of its Northside campus playground, featuring new KOMPAN play equipment, improvements to the school’s field for play and soccer, and a re-imagined bike pump track designed to support movement, exploration, and outdoor learning for students of all ages.

“Spending time outdoors is an essential part of the Richmond Waldorf experience, and we are thrilled to be maximizing our urban campus,” said Andrew Ross, the school’s executive director. “This renovation gives our students even more opportunities for creative play, physical development, teamwork, and joyful connection with one another.” Richmond Waldorf School will celebrate the completion of the playground renovation with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 24th at 5:30 pm during the school’s Back-to-School Picnic.
