This all-abilities festival connects families with valuable community resources for individuals with disabilities. It is free and open to the public.

In addition to connecting folks with services and resources, SummerFest is also an opportunity to build awareness of the disabled community, and to educate the public about the need for inclusion in all aspects of our lives.

Participating nonprofit organizations will have tables with activities, and representatives will be present to share information on various resources and programs.

Art on Wheels, Autism Society of Central Virginia, Friendship Circle, Healing Sounds, Jacob’s Chance, MEDARVA (providing vision screenings), Medical Home Plus (MHP), Mitzvah Market, Moms in Motion, and the YMCA of Greater Richmond will all have booths at the festival.

Hosted by SOAR365’s Next Generation Council of Young Professionals, SummerFest is co-sponsored by Anthem HealthKeepers Plus, Eli’s Village, The Glaser Group, and Northstar Academy.

Food will be available from Boka Tako truck. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. Free cotton candy compliments of North Star Academy. And music by DJ Melvin.  MEDARVA will also be providing free vision screenings. All funds raised at SummerFest support programs for individuals with disabilities at SOAR365 as well as maintenance to keep PARK365 clean and safe.

Although admission is free, advance online registration is requested. Please register at SummerFest2021.givesmart.com
