VA Rep Reaches Goal To Remain Open

After Virginia Repertory Theatre (VA Rep) announced it was on the verge of closing its doors for more than 1,300 folks donated some $600,000, the amount the theatre company needed to remain in business.
Managing Director, Klaus Schuller, states “We don’t take this gift lightly,” says Klaus Schuller, the theatre’s managing director. “Raising funds is hard work, but now we have even harder work to do. We need to re-imagine ourselves. We need to rebuild Virginia Rep from the ground up, instilling rigor, transparency, and sustainability into everything we do.”
VA Rep will host an open forum at 6pm on October 7 at the VA Rep Center for Arts and Education on Richmond’s Northside.
VA Rep will present Grace for President on October 12 at the Jessie Bogese Theatre, which is located in the VA Rep Center for Arts and Education.
And then, beginning on November 30, VA Rep brings you Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the Arenstein Stage at the November Theatre in downtown Richmond.
